The Culpiner See is a lake in the Duchy of Lauenburg in the German state Schleswig-Holstein northeast of the place Mustin directly on the border with Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The lake is about 19 hectares and up to 8.0 m deep. It is located in the nature reserve of the same name , which, in addition to the lake, includes the areas to the west and south. Less than a kilometer southeast of Mecklenburg lies the Goldensee, which is five times its size .
