Richard Rodríguez , full name Richard Rodríguez Álvez , (born July 13, 1992 in Sauce or Toledo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.81 meter tall defensive player Rodríguez belonged to the squad of Montevideo- based Club Atlético Rentistas from the second division season 2010/11, in which he played two games (no goal), until the beginning of September 2014 . In the 2011/12 and 2013/14 seasons there were ten and six appearances in the Primera División for him. He didn't score a goal. At Apertura 2014 he joined the second division Canadian Soccer Club on loan . In the 2014/15 season he was used 23 times (no goal) in the Segunda División with the Montevideans . From mid-July 2015 he continued his career in Honduras with CD Platense . There he played 26 games in the Liga Nacional and scored one goal. In August 2016 he moved to the Uruguayan second division club Sportivo Cerrito , for whom he appeared eleven times (no goal) in the league in the 2016 season. In mid-January 2017, the Club Deportivo Vida signed him . For the Hondurans he has so far (as of July 23, 2017) scored once in 14 league appearances.
