Sauce is a city in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the central south of the Canelones Department in sector 6 . Larger settlements in the area are Progreso in the west, Las Piedras in the southwest or Pando in the southeast. The Arroyo del Sauce flows through the city .

Sauce has a secondary school ( Liceo ) with the Liceo de Sauce, which was founded in 1953 as Liceo Popular .
