Richard Tesarik (born May 6, 1985 ) is an Australian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Newcastle Northstars in the Australian Ice Hockey League since 2017 .

Career

Richard Tesarik began his ice hockey career in his native Sydney with the Ice Dogs there , for whom he made his debut in the Australian Ice Hockey League in 2012 . With the ice dogs he won the Goodall Cup , the Australian championship trophy in 2013 . From 2015 to 2017 he played for local rivals, the Sydney Bears . He then moved to the Newcastle Northstars .

International

For Australia , Tesarik was on the ice for the first time at the World Championships of Division II 2016 and rose with the team from the southern hemisphere from the B to the A group of this division. Also in 2017 and 2018 he played in Division II.
