Richard Wanka

Richard Wanka (born July 3, 1936 in Beregsas , Hungary ) is a German civil servant .

Life

Wanka studied law at the University of Erlangen from 1956 to 1960 . After completing his studies and doctorate in 1965, he took up a position at the Federal Employment Agency . After various positions at several employment offices, he became a personnel officer in the state employment office in Hesse in 1968, and in 1976 he became director of the employment office in Frankfurt am Main. In 1979 he moved to the Federal Labor Office as head of the main department. From 1991 to 1997 Wanka was President of the State Labor Office (LAA) North Bavaria, from 1998 until his retirement in 2002 of the LAA North and South Bavaria and the LAA Bavaria.

In 1992 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit , 1st Class, and in 1999 the Bavarian Order of Merit for his activities . In 2004 he received the second highest medal in Italy, the Cavaliere della Repubblica Italiana , from the President of the Italian Republic ; Wanka has made an outstanding contribution to the regulations governing Italian workers in Germany and their return to Italy.

Richard Wanka is a member of the memorandum forum and the board of trustees of the ESO - Euro Schools Organization as well as an arbitrator in the Bavarian metal industry. Wanka has been a member of the Catholic student association KDSt.V. since 1956. Gothia Erlangen in the CV .
