The Richardson Hill is an ice-free hill in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . On the north side of the Darwin Mountains, it rises 500 m above the ice masses of the Island Arena .
Participants of the 1962-1963 campaign as part of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions mapped and named him. It is named after the New Zealand zoologist Laurence R. Richardson, lecturer at Victoria University of Wellington and an active supporter of the university's Antarctic expeditions.
