Career
society
Báez began his career at Club Olimpia , where he played from 1993 to 1995. He then played at Avispa Fukuoka , CF Universidad de Chile , Club América , Celaya FC , Club 12 de Octubre , CSD Municipal and Sportivo Luqueño . In 2005 he ended his playing career.
National team
In 1995, Báez made his debut for the Paraguayan national soccer team . He was appointed to the squad for the 1995 Copa America and 2002 World Cup . He has played a total of 26 international matches for Paraguay.
