Richeza from Everstein
Richeza von Everstein (also: Ryksa, Ricca, Riche, Richildis, Richza, Rikinsa ) (* around 1135, † June 16, 1185 ) was a daughter of Wladyslaw II of Poland and his wife Agnes , a daughter of Margrave Leopold III. of Austria . She was thus a cousin of the emperor Friedrich Barbarossa .
Life
Richeza married several times:
- 1152 Alfonso VII of León and Castile (March 1, 1105 - August 21, 1157). Her son Ferdinand died before 1157, her daughter Sancha of Castile married Alfonso II of Aragon. After the death of her husband, she left Castile around 1159 and went to the court of Raimund Berengar IV , the father of Alfonso II of Aragon.
- 1161 Raimund Berengar III. , Count of Provence († 1166). They had a daughter Dulcia II (* 1165, † 1172).
- _ ?? _ Raimund V. , Count of Toulouse (* 1134; † 1194)?
- 1167 Albrecht II of Everstein (1135–1197 / 1202). Albrecht was one of Barbarossa's partisans in his quarrel with Henry the Lion . He was the son of Albrecht I von Everstein and Judith von Schwalenberg and a grandson of Konrad Everstein . They had a son Albert (or Albrecht) III. (* 1170).
