Properties - use

This special rootstock is very vigorous and very drought-resistant. It is therefore only used in southern European growing areas because of its late maturity. It has a medium lime tolerance and a low nematode resistance . Requires a good supply of magnesium. Waterlogging in spring easily leads to chlorosis . The combination with the Syrah variety leads to leaf yellowing. Due to the listed properties, it is only suitable for very early locations and very dry, low-precipitation locations with a low to medium lime content ( activated lime tolerance ~ 17%, IPC 30) of the soil.
