Rick DeMarinis

Rick DeMarinis (* 1934 in New York City ; † June 12, 2019 in Montana ) was an American author of novels, non-fiction and short stories.

Life

Rick DeMarinis has taught creative writing at the University of Texas at El Paso, as well as at San Diego State University , the University of Montana - Missoula, and Arizona State University .

Three of his novels have now been translated into German. In addition, collections of his short stories are available, which have already appeared in magazines such as Esquire or GQ . Furthermore, a non-fiction book on the subject of short stories was published , in which five of his short stories are also printed.
