Anna Troberg is the successor as party leader . He currently lives in Sollentuna north of Stockholm .

In 1988, at the age of 16, he founded his first company. In 1991 he finished school at Göteborgs Högre Samskola with a focus on science. In 1993 he began studying technical physics at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, but dropped out in 1994 to work as an entrepreneur. During his time as a student he was active in the youth organization of the Swedish party Moderata samlingspartiet . Rickard Falkvinge then worked as an IT entrepreneur and was previously employed as a project manager at Microsoft .

Falkvinge then worked for a small software company, which he quit to work full-time for the Piratpartiet. Since the end of 2006 he has been working again as an employee, but he plans to work full-time for the Pirate Party again before the elections.

Child porn debate

In 2012, Falkvinge campaigned for the legalization of the possession of child pornography, literally saying: “The possession of child pornography should be legalized again.” Falkvinge argues that it is not the possession but the production of child pornography that should be punished. Governments would use child pornography to censor the Internet. The deliberations met with horror and strict rejection among politicians of the Pirate Party of Germany.
