Fujitsu Services is an international IT services company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Fujitsu Limited. Fujitsu Services employs around 12,000 people and is present in 20 countries. The company's headquarters are in London .

As an IT service provider , Fujitsu Services develops, implements and operates IT infrastructures for companies, supports internal IT departments or takes responsibility for the IT of its customers within the framework of outsourcing and out-tasking contracts .

The service portfolio of Fujitsu Services includes the areas of IT consultancy, IT solutions and IT managed services.

In the 2014/2015 financial year, Fujitsu Services achieved sales of EUR 2.23 billion.

history

Fujitsu Services was created in 1968 through the merger of English Electric Computers and International Computers and Tabulators (ICT) under the name ICL . In 1990 Fujitsu acquired 80% of ICL, in two further steps 1993–94 and 1996 Fujitsu's shares were increased to 90.1%. In 1998 Fujitsu took over the remaining 9.9% and became the sole shareholder in ICL, which was renamed Fujitsu Services on April 1, 2002. On April 1, 2004, Fujitsu Consulting (formerly DMR) and Fujitsu Technology Solutions International (formerly Amdahl) were integrated into Fujitsu Services.

Fujitsu Services in Germany

Fujitsu Services has been represented in Germany since 1976. The German headquarters are in Neuss . Further branches are located in Hamburg , Munich and Langen near Frankfurt am Main .

At the beginning of 2007, Fujitsu Services acquired the majority of shares in Neckarsulm TDS AG , a leading German company for IT outsourcing, SAP hosting and HR BPO.
