The Riddu Riđđu (North Sami pronunciation : [ ˈridːu ˈriðːu ]; translation: "little storm on the coast") is an annual Sami music and culture festival, at which, in addition to the Sami culture, those of other indigenous peoples are presented. The festival takes place annually in mid-July in the small town of Olmmáivággi in the northern Norwegian municipality of Gáivuotna .

2017

In 2017 the festival took place from July 12 to 16 and was officially opened for the first time by the Norwegian Queen Sonja .
