Ridley is a civil parish in Cheshire .

geography

Ridley is west of Nantwich and consists essentially of pasture with a few ponds and ponds and a few small forests. The River Weaver flows through the area from north to south .

history

For centuries, the area was used for agriculture through scattered farms and therefore has no villages.

At the end of the 17th century the name Ridley came to Pennsylvania because a farmer named Simcock moved to the area of Ridley Township during the Quaker emigration and bought land there.

Administratively, Ridley belonged to Crewe and Nantwich until 2009, and since then to Cheshire East .
