Riedhof is a district of the municipality of Rott in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .
geography
The wasteland of Riedhof is about two kilometers southwest of Rott in a pre-alpine moraine landscape .
history
Riedhof is first mentioned in the 11th century as Willipurgriet , later the settlement is also called St. Virgilien .
The wasteland belonged to the Klosterhofmark Wessobrunn , in 1752 a property is mentioned.
The church of St. Virgil, located in the wilderness, was demolished in 1783.
