Riefenstahl is a German New German Hardness - band from Hannover .

history

Riefenstahl was founded in 2002 by the guitarist Ralph Laskowski, the singer Jens "Centurio" Esch and the drummer Sven Petersen. In this line-up, Riefenstahl performed for the first time in front of an international audience at the Musikmesse 2003 in Frankfurt. In September 2004 the band also successfully presented themselves to the media at PopKomm in Berlin and received excellent international and national reviews. A year later Daniel Peschel joined the band, in 2005 Riefenstahl released her debut album Seelenschmerz in Germany , a year later in Europe and worldwide. Since April 2006, Riefenstahl has been an ambassador for Kronos eV , which is committed to combating child abuse . The second album Instinct was released in 2007, Sven Petersen left the band immediately after the recordings and was replaced by Gregor Heise.

In 2008 Gregor Heise had to leave the band. From 2009 to 2011 the Brazilian drummer Tiago "Shade" Saldanha was a member of the band. They worked with him on the third album.
