Riki (* 4. February 1992 in Segrate , Metropolitan Municipality of Milan , as Riccardo Marcuzzo ) is an Italian pop singer .

Career

Marcuzzo grew up in Pessano con Bornago near Milan and was initially interested in theater , but then gave up acting training in favor of music. At the age of 17 he started taking singing lessons. He won a singing contest in Milan, Minicanto , and eventually made it through the castings for the 16th edition of Amici di Maria De Filippi . There he presented several of his own songs, including Perdo le parole , Sei mia , Diverso , Ti luccicano gli occhi and Replay , and made it to the final. His debut EP Perdo le parole was released on May 19, 2017 by Sony and reached the top of the Italian album charts in the first week .

In the same year, Riki's first album Mania was released , which also reached the top of the chart. In 2018 the singer released a live album and worked with rapper lowlow and boy band CNCO .
