The Rimae Fresnel is a 90 km long arched cliff on the Earth's moon , between Mare Serenitatis and Palus Putredinis , southeast of the Crater Autolycus on the selenographic coordinates 28.0 ° N, 4.0 ° E.

Like the nearby Fresnel Promontory , it was named in honor of the mathematician Augustin Jean Fresnel .
