The Rimington Bluff is a rock cliff in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises just south of the Tingey Glacier at the southern end of the Mawson Escarpment .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956, 1960 and 1973 were used for mapping. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1973 after the Australian geodesist George Robert Lindsay Rimington (1908-1992), deputy director of the head of the Australian Division of National Mapping from 1961 to 1966.
