Rimpel

Rimpel was a Hungarian volume and grain measure . Other terms were Fel meszely for half a page or whistle .

Meszely or Seitel was set from 1808 to 1838 by law of the Pressburger Metzen with 64 halves to 2 Rimpel. After 1838, the measure before 1808 with 75 pints to 62.518 liters was used again. The dimensions were valid until May 1, 1854, then the Lower Austrian dimensions and weights were valid according to the imperial stipulation from 1853.
