Seitel , more rarely Seidel but Messely, was a Hungarian measure of volume for liquids and a measure of grain . The values were the same for both product groups. Before 1808 a Bratislava bucket with 150 sides was the same.

  • 1 side = 21 Parisian cubic inches = 2/5 liters
  • 1 side = 2 Rimpel / Fel-Messely / half side
  • 2 sides = 1 half / ice
  • 128 sides = 1 Metzen (Pressburger) = 1 bucket (Pressburger)

In Tyrol , the liquid measure Seitel was used under the designation Ziment , 7/20 liters or 17½ Parisian cubic inches and 128 Ziment resulted in a Ueren .
