Rina Matsuno

Rina Matsuno ( Japanese 松 野 莉奈 , Matsuno Rina ; born July 16, 1998 in Tokyo Prefecture ; † February 8, 2017 ) was a Japanese singer and actress . She belonged to the girls group Shiritsu Ebisu Chūgaku since 2010 .

Life

Rina Matsuno was born in Tokyo in 1998. She was discovered at elementary school age and has performed with various girls' groups under the management of Stardust Promotion since 2006 , including from 2009 to 2010 with the Mini Cheer Bears.

In February 2010, Matsuno became a member of Shiritsu Ebisu Chūgaku. The first of a total of three joint albums with the group was released in July 2013 under the title Chūnin .

In addition to her music career, Matsuno also worked as an actress. She made her cinema debut in 2007 in the horror film Apartment 1303 . Before that, she worked in commercials for McDonald’s , Sumitomo Life Insurance and the 2007 Mitsubishi Delica . In 2013 she played a leading role in the horror film The Joker Game: Escape and in 2014 a supporting role in the eleven episode television series Kôkaku Fudôsenki Robosan .

On February 7, 2017, Shiritsu Ebisu Chūgaku announced that Rina Matsuno could not attend a scheduled performance due to health problems. The following day, at the age of 18, she died of complications from a cardiac arrhythmia .
