Rinat Muchin ( Russian Ринат Мухин ; born January 29, 1994 ) is a Kazakh cross-country skier .

Career

Muchin started in February 2012 at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2012 in Erzurum . There he took 51st place in the skiathlon and 44th place over 10 km classic. The following year he won 75th place over 10 km freestyle at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2013 in Liberec . At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2014 in Fiemme Valley , he came 42nd place in the skiathlon and seventh place in the relay. In February 2015 he finished 28th in the U23 World Championships in Almaty and tenth place over 15 km freestyle and at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun the 53rd place over 15 km freestyle and 13th place with the Season. He ran his first World Cup race in January 2016 in Nové Město , which he finished in 66th place over 15 km freestyle and 14th place with the relay. At the U23 World Championships in 2016 in Rasnov , he finished 60th in the sprint, 47th place over 15 km classic and 15th place over 15 km freestyle. In January 2017 he won the silver medal with the relay at the 2017 Winter Universiade in Almaty. The following month he won the silver medal with the relay and the gold medal in the 15 km freestyle at the Winter Asian Games 2017 in Sapporo .
