The Ring Club Belp is a wrestling club from Belp in the canton of Bern in Switzerland . The active team consists of 18 wrestlers and wrestles in the Swiss National League B West. The club also consists of 35 students and 12 juniors. It also has 32 active B members and 197 passive members.
The Ring Club Belp was founded in 1972.
Active team
The active team of the RC Belp currently consists of 18 wrestlers and has been wrestling in the NLB since 2005. The greatest success of the team was promotion to the National League A in 1994. After one year of NLA, however, they were relegated again. Since then, the team has had some lows and highs in terms of sport. Until 2004 you could establish yourself in the NLB. But in 2004 he was relegated to the regional league. This descent was corrected a year later with the promotion to the NLB. A year later, the league was successfully maintained and in 2007 even managed to move into the playoffs of the NLB.
