National Women's Ring

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Ring Nationaler Frauen (RNF) is a nationwide sub-organization of the NPD , which was founded on September 16, 2006 in Sotterhausen near Sangerhausen .

history

After the approval of the NPD party executive meeting, a ring of national women was founded in Sotterhausen in September 2006 as a sub-organization of the NPD, which should “serve as a mouthpiece for women in the NPD”, but also be a point of contact for “nationally thinking, non-party women”. The initiators of the project were the Saxon NPD member of the state parliament Gitta Schüßler, the Lower Saxony NPD member Katharina Becker and Judith Rothe from the NPD Saxony-Anhalt; the latter is the partner of the well-known neo-Nazi Enrico Marx , the founding meeting took place on her property. When it was founded, women from six federal states were represented. Most of those interested came from the new federal states and Berlin.

The organization is officially organized on the model of the women's organizations of other democratic parties such as the Women's Union or the Working Group of Social Democratic Women , or imitates their structural levels. Experts see in this, as in earlier founded organizations such as the Association of German Women (GDF), the Skingirl Freundeskreis Deutschland (SFD), the Active Women Fraction or the Mädelring Thuringia (MRT), the increasing importance and active participation of women in the right-wing extremist scene.

On August 3, 2012, board member and founding member Jasmin Apfel resigned from all her RNF offices and at the same time left the NPD. She cited personal and health problems as the reason.
