Ring of the European Blacksmith Cities
The Ring of the European Cities of Iron Works is an association of cities whose history includes iron mining and metalworking. It wants to promote the regional diversity of the blacksmith's trade and show the member cities ways of city marketing .

The association was founded on June 16, 2001 and is based in Olbernhau , Germany. He should
- support the preservation and further development of blacksmithing
- contribute to a positive public presentation of metal design and the blacksmith's craft
- Develop concepts for the tourist marketing of the existing facilities such as blacksmith shops and museums
- promote communication and exchange between members
The most important working languages are German and English.

According to the statutes, members are communities that have in the past or present a strong relationship to metal design and blacksmithing .
