The Riquelme Peak is a mountain on Tonkin Iceland before Bowman Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is the southernmost elevation of a rocky mountain ridge that forms the eastern foothills of the island.
Apparently it was scientists from the 1st Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1946–1947) who were the first to sight him. On the map published following this research trip in 1947, the object appeared as Riquelme Island . The namesake is probably a signal guest of the expedition. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee adapted the name in 2003.
