The Ristinghortane are rocky outcrops in the Heimefrontfjella of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . They rise up on the northeast side of the Kibergdalen .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1973. It is named after the lawyer Johannes Risting (1910–1987), a leader of the resistance against the German occupation of Norway in World War II .
