The Kibergdalen is a 19 km long valley of the Heimefrontfjella in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It lies between the Sivorgfjella and the Tottanfjella .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1985 after the village of Kiberg in Finnmark , Norway , which played a key role in passing on information to the Soviet Union in the fight against the German occupation of Norway in World War II .
