The building is located on the south side of Ritterstrasse near the eastern end of the street in Magdeburg's Neue Neustadt district .

Architecture and history

The two-storey, eleven-axis building was built as a semi-detached house in the style of late classicism . It was a replacement building for a previous building destroyed in a fire in 1854. Initially, it was built as a single-story house for the carpenter Kahle. Carpenters planes pictured on the parapet are a reminder of him . The floor was later increased to two floors and the property was divided. Small town houses typical of the middle of the 19th century were built.

The plastered building is covered with a gable roof. In the area of ​​the parapet on the windows and below the roof there is a tendril decoration .

The building is listed as a residential and commercial building under registration number 094 82840 in the local monument register.
