The Ritterstraße 7 building is a listed residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

The building is located on the north side of Ritterstrasse in Magdeburg's Neue Neustadt district . The building, which is also listed, is adjacent to Ritterstrasse 6 to the east .

Architecture and history

The four-storey brick building was built in 1889 by the master carpenter W. Scheumitz. The facade has a representative structured and designed facade with forms of the neo-Renaissance . The entrance to the building is on the left edge of the facade and is emphasized by the formation of a narrow risalit and a small tail gable placed above it . Together with house number 6, the building forms a typical design for the Wilhelminian era . The group of houses is a relic of the Wilhelminian style.

In the local register of monuments , the building is listed as a residential building under registration number 094 82838.
