The River Roeburn emerges at Mallowdale Fell and Salter Fell north of Wolfhole Crag in the Forest of Bowland in Lancashire , England . The River Roeburn arises from a large number of small outflows and has numerous small tributaries, the only larger of which is the Hunt's Gill Beck . The river flows north and empties the place Wray in the River Hindburn .
