The Wolfhole Crag is a mountain in the Forest of Bowland in Lancashire , England . The mountain is elongated in an east-west direction and at a height of 527 m only has a notch height of 40 m.

The Ordnance Survey found in 2002 that the geographic center of Great Britain , including all islands, is on the southern slope of Wolfhole Crag. The point is not marked in any way and also not a particularly prominent point in the landscape. ( 54 ° 0 ′ 13.2 ″  N , 2 ° 32 ′ 52.3 ″  W ) The geographical center excluding the islands is according to the Ordnance Survey at Calderstone Hospital on the outskirts of Whalley (OS Grid reference SD7232136671)
