Ro Hyo-gyong (born January 9, 1999 ) is a North Korean athlete who specializes in obstacle courses .

Athletic career

Ro Hyo-gyong gained her first international experience at the Junior Asian Championships 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City , where she won the silver medal in 10: 31.02 minutes. The following year she took part in the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar , where she also won the silver medal behind the Indian Sudha Singh in 10: 13.94 minutes . In 2018 she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta , where she finished seventh in 10: 05.47 minutes.

In 2016 and 2017, Ro became North Korean champion in the obstacle course.
