Roaring Ridge (English for showering ridge ) is a long and protruding mountain ridge in the west Antarctic Marie-Byrd-Land . It goes 5.5 km northeast of Mount Blackburn from the Watson Escarpment .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. Participants in a campaign carried out from 1969 to 1970 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named it after the roaring winds, which two Geologists were exposed to this campaign in their camp set up not far from this mountain ridge.
