Robert (Perche)
Robert de Valois (* 1344 ; † 1377 ) was a count of Perche and Porhoët from the House of Valois-Alençon .
Robert was a son of Count Charles II of Alençon and Marie de la Cerda. His uncle was King Philip VI. of France . In 1361 he received the counties of Perche and Porhoët, which his eldest brother Charles III during his minority . had managed. During the siege of La Charité-sur-Loire in 1364, in the fight against Charles the Evil , he was knighted . In 1370 he supported the Duke of Berry in taking Limoges , which until then was held by the black prince . But that same year he carried out a bloody punitive expedition against the city.
Robert was married since April 5, 1374 to the Breton noblewoman Johanna von Rohan († 1407), daughter of Vice Count Johann I von Rohan . They had a son who died young.
After his death Robert was buried in the Abbey of Saint-Martin in Sées , his older brother Peter received his possessions .
