Robert Addie

Robert Alastair Addie (born February 10, 1960 in London , † November 20, 2003 in Cheltenham , England) was a British actor who was best known for his role as Sir Guy of Gisburne in the British television series Robin Hood .

Life

He attended Marlborough College , which he left at the age of 16 to join the National Youth Theater . He remained there until 1978. He then studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art to in (RADA) which he lacked in 1980 John Boorman's film Excalibur to Mordred to embody. In 1989 Robert temporarily ended his acting career, but resumed it in 1995.

He also had guest appearances on a number of television series, including a. : The Return of Sherlock Holmes (1986), Crossbow (1986), Pulaski (1987), Red Dwarf (1988), and Monarch of the Glen (2000).

Robert was married three times and got divorced just as many times. He had three children: Alexander, Alastair and Kaitlin.

He died of lung cancer on November 20, 2003 at the age of 43.
