Robert Berndt

Eduard Wilhelm Robert Berndt (born February 6, 1811 in Glogau ; † 1888 ) was a German lawyer , mayor of the city of Glogau and member of the Prussian House of Representatives and Prussian Manor .

Life

Robert Berndt was from 1849 to 1852 a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the Liegnitz constituency , although he did not belong to any parliamentary group. On November 24, 1854, he was appointed to the Prussian mansion for life at the presentation of the city of Glogau, of which he was the deputy mayor and municipal syndic. He entered the manor on November 30, 1854. In old age he first wrote a scientific treatise on the history of the Jews in Glogau, which was followed by three extensive volumes on the city's history since the Thirty Years' War .
