Robert Chvátal

Robert Chvátal (born August 10, 1968 in Čáslav , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech manager.

Career

Chvátal graduated from the University of Economics in Prague with a degree in international business in 1992 with a focus on international marketing.

During his studies, Chvátal worked as Assistant Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble in Prague . In 1993 he moved to COTY / Margaret Astor , where he was responsible for the Czech Republic and Slovakia as Marketing Director . In 1997 he switched to the mobile communications industry. At RadioMobil , Chvátal was responsible for the management's marketing agendas for five years. In 2002, Chvátal moved to T-Mobile Slovakia as Chairman of the Management Board in Bratislava . From March 1, 2007 to August 31, 2012 he was appointed CEO of T-Mobile Austria. He succeeded Georg Pölzl in this function .

Robert Chvátal was CEO of T-Mobile Austria until August 31, 2012 .

Since 2013 he has been managing the largest Czech lottery company, the Sazka Group, of the conglomerate KKCG SE .

Trivia

In 2009 derStandard.at reported on Robert Chvátal in a review of the student protests in 1989 against the communist regime in Prague.

Robert Chvátal is married to the former TV presenter Ivanka Chvátalová and has two children.
