Robert Donatucci

Robert C. Donatucci (* 3. May 1952 in Philadelphia ; † 9. November 2010 in South Philadelphia ) was an American politician of the Democratic Party and belonged from 1980 until his death in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on.

Donatucci attended Bishop Neumann High School . After graduating from school in 1970 he studied at Temple University , where he received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in 1974 . In April 1980 he was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a by-election. Donatucci replaced his brother Ronald Donatucci . This had resigned his mandate , since he had been elected to the Register of Wills and the Clerk des Orphans' Court of the City of Philadelphia the previous year .

Robert Donatucci was re-elected a total of 15 times, most recently in November 2010 with 84 percent, and was a member of the Committee on Ethics and the Liquor Control Committee . In the latter, he acted as the majority chairman.

Donatucci was married and had two children, a son and a daughter. He died of sleep apnea in his home at the age of 58 .
