Robert Dubovsky

Robert Dubovsky (born July 5, 1907 in Vienna ; † May 24, 1991 ibid) was an Austrian toolmaker and politician ( KPÖ ). Dubovsky was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1945 to 1959 .

Life

Dubovsky attended elementary and secondary school before completing an apprenticeship as a toolmaker. He joined the KPÖ in 1933 and was arrested several times after 1934. After the National Socialists came to power, Dubovsky was imprisoned in Dachau and Buchenwald concentration camps from 1939 to 1944 . After the end of the Second World War, Dubovsky represented the KPÖ from December 12, 1945 to June 4, 1959 in the Lower Austrian state parliament. From 1948 to 1963 he was also regional chairman of the communist community representatives, from 1953 executive regional party chairman of the KPÖ and from 1956, as successor to Franz Honner , until 1968 regional party chairman of the KPÖ. He was also a member of the Newag supervisory board .
