Robert Egghart

Robert Egghart (born April 15, 1952 in Vienna ) is an Austrian master furrier and politician ( FPÖ / BZÖ ). Egghart was a member of the state parliament in Vienna and a member of the Austrian National Council .

education and profession

Egghart attended elementary school from 1958 to 1962 and then a secondary school in Vienna until 1967. He then learned the profession of furrier and did his military service in 1971.

Egghart has been a furrier since 1967 and was appointed to the commercial council in 1992. Egghart was also a deputy guild master.

politics

Egghart was district councilor in Vienna- Währing between 1987 and 1996 and from 1987 club chairman. He was also elected district party chairman of the FPÖ Währing in 1987 and from 1990 he was Deputy Guild Master of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce. Egghart represented the FPÖ in the Vienna Landtag and local council between 1996 and 1999 and was a member of the National Council from October 29, 1999 to December 19, 2002. Egghart named economic and budget policy, control, European policy, telecommunications and international transport policy as well as security policy as the main focuses of his work.

In the course of the separation of the BZÖ from the FPÖ, Egghart also joined the BZÖ, as he criticized “the increasing radicalism, the narrowing of the range of topics and the falling linguistic level in the FPÖ”.

Private

Eggenhart has been married since 1970 and has one son.
