Robert Elektrozoo (* 1983 as Robert Petzold in Karl-Marx-Stadt (now Chemnitz ), Germany) is a German blues and rock guitarist, singer and songwriter .

Career

At the age of 18 he founded the Chemnitz band Subcultures In A Fridge . When he moved to Leipzig in 2003, the band broke up. In 2004 he founded the 3apes band together with Robert Schneider and Christian Thurow . Until the breakup in 2016, he was the main stylist of the band as a guitarist and singer and had more than 300 concerts. In 2006 he won the Courage Show Contest with the 3apes band . Since 2017 he has been working as a guitarist and singer with The Residudes .

Private

Elektrozoo has lived in Leipzig since 2003. From 2007–2009 he was part of the jury of the courage show competition. In addition to his work as a musician, he is active as a painter, composer and tailor . Until 2015 he designed and manufactured designer shirts for his own fashion label Zootex - Die Hemdenmanufaktur .
