Robert Engel is a former German ski jumper .

Engel, who started for WSV Brotterode , was accepted into the German national squad as a youth at the end of the 1930s, but had to interrupt his career because of the Second World War . After the war he started in the 1953 Four Hills Tournament on the Great Olympic Hill in Oberstdorf for his first and only competition in a Four Hills Tournament. In the end he reached 18th place with 176 points. In the overall standings he was 26th after the tour.
