Robert Eschrich (born February 14, 1985 in Suhl ) is a German luge and bobsleigh athlete .

Eschrich, who grew up in Schmiedefeld am Rennsteig , attended the Oberhof sports high school until 2004. In his youth he tobogganed in doubles with Andi Langenhan until 2000 . Robert Eschrich starts for the BSR Rennsteig Oberhof . In the first race of the Luge World Cup in 2008 he made his World Cup debut and finished tenth in his first race. He is a police chief at the Thuringian state police and a member of the sports promotion group.

In addition to luge, Eschrich also does bobsleigh. As a pilot he took part in German championships and was 13th in the two-man bobsleigh in Winterberg in 2011.
