Robert Fagel

Robert Fagel , but in 1815 Baron Fagel (born March 10, 1771 in The Hague , † December 26, 1856 in Paris ) was a Dutch politician and military.

Robert Fagel, brother of Hendrik Fagel , distinguished himself as a Dutch general in the campaigns against France from 1793-94 , then stayed abroad for a long time and did not return to his homeland until 1813. King Wilhelm I appointed him envoy to Paris in 1815, where Fagel was also accredited from 1852–54.

In 1853 he was awarded the honorary title of Minister of State .
