Robert Frazer
Robert Frazer (* on 29. June 1891 in Worcester , Massachusetts as Robert William Browne ; † 17th August 1944 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actor.
Robert Frazer was a busy film actor between his first film appearances in 1912 and his last films in 1944, and has appeared in more than 220 films. Frazer made one of his first film appearances in film history in 1912 when he became the first actor to portray the character of Robin Hood in a film. Until the end of the silent film era, Frazer was part of the leading actors' guard in Hollywood . He made the transition to talkies at the end of the 1920s, but was now increasingly seen in larger supporting roles. Since 1913 he was married to the actress Mildred Bright . In 1944 he died of leukemia .
