Robert Gehbauer (born July 7, 1987 ) is an Austrian triathlete and mountain biker. He is junior world champion mountain bike (2005) and winter triathlon (2006).

Career

In 2005 Robert Gehbauer became junior world champion mountain bike (30.15 km).

In 2006 he became Junior European and World Champion Winter Triathlon.

In 2018 Gehbauer became vice-national champion winter triathlon and in February 2019 he finished as the best Austrian in Italy in 14th place at the world championship winter triathlon (8 km running, 12 km MTB and 10.5 km cross-country skiing).

The 32-year-old finished eighth in the World Championship Winter Triathlon in Italy in February 2020.

Robert Gehbauer lives in Drobollach . His younger brother Alexander Gehbauer (* 1990) is also active as a mountain biker.
