Robert Grünbaum

Robert Grünbaum (* 1967 in Leipzig ) is a German political scientist .

Life

Grünbaum studied political science, contemporary history and German at the University of Mannheim from 1989 to 1994 . In 1999 he worked with Eckhard Jesse at the Technical University of Chemnitz with the dissertation Beyond Everyday Life. The political engagement of the GDR writers in the revolution of 1989/90 to become Dr. phil. PhD.

From 1994 to 2000 he was a research assistant at the Chair of Political Science at the University of Bayreuth . Since 2000 he has been head of the social reappraisal, publications and extracurricular educational work department and, since 2001, he has also been the deputy managing director of the Federal Foundation for the coming to terms with the SED dictatorship in Berlin.
