Robert Grunert

Robert Grunert (born July 23, 1891 in Detmold ; † July 14, 1966 in Lemgo ) was a German district administrator in Blomberg and Lemgo .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1907, Robert Grunert came to the Blomberg District Office as an administrative candidate and went through various positions in public administration before he was commissioned to represent the District Administrator in Blomberg on September 1, 1928. On October 1, 1928, he was definitely district administrator and remained in this position until he was recalled to the Lemgo district office on March 1, 1932. From 1925 until its dissolution in 1932, Blomberg was an administrative unit in the Free State of Lippe . Grunert acted as district administrator in Lemgo from April 1, 1932 and was dismissed in June 1945. The Americans arrested and interned him. In the denazification process , he was classified in category IV (fellow travelers) on April 24, 1948. On December 1, 1949, he retired as a pensioner. Grunert was a member of the NSDAP from May 1, 1933 ( Member No. 3,566,695), from June 1934 a member of the National Socialist Motor Corps and from June 12, 1936 a supporting member of the SS .
